This week marked the beginning of a new era in behavioral health care in California.
<<INSERT ORGANIZATION>> was proud to attend a historic meeting with Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom where we discussed finding solutions to the behavioral health crisis facing our state.
The event was hosted by Behavioral Health Action, a coalition of more than 50 statewide organizations, including <<INSERT ORGANIZATION>>, united together to make behavioral health a top policy priority.
This is truly groundbreaking – Lt. Gov. Newsom is the highest-ranking California official in state history to meet with such a diverse coalition of leaders with a specific focus on mental illness and substance use challenges.
